Made these today :) They pretty much look exactly like the picture, except a little thinner because I didn’t have exactly that size or shape of pan. I may try them as muffins sometime, because they have the same texture as a denser muffin. Added raisins and almonds and used crunchy peanut butter.
Click below the picture or the following link for recipe from gingerbreadbagels.com. Healthy (only big bad in it is 1/4 cup of brown sugar, which subs well if you want) and delicious :D
Yes I’ve been nervous-baking because all the work I have to do this semester is making me anxious -__-

I just made this chocolate microwave cake. Mine did not look like that, and I overcooked it (so parts of it were crispy, sort of like an edge-piece brownie- a plus in my opinion.) I used 1 tbsp splenda plus 2 1/2 tbsp brown sugar instead of 4 tbsp sugar, and sweetened rather than unsweetened cocoa (it was what I had. Also it was dark chocolate cocoa.)
It was tasty :D I mixed each forkful with a little mint chocolate ice cream to soften it up a little (don’t do what I did! I thought it was too mushy so I cooked it an extra minute, but it hardens up as it cools!) Also instead of chocolate chips, I used big pieces of salted chocolate bar. Good choice.

(A healthier version I’ll probably try next time here.)

Maangchi makes Korean cooking look easy! Maangchi has tons of Korean cooking videos on youtube. Also she sounds like Cooking Mama. [ok? she does.] I know what I’m making for my mom’s birthday 8D

One of my favorite youtubers [for constantly doing plebeian crap like this that I, fellow pleb, would never think to do] Jetdaisuke, teaches us how to steam corn in the microwave.

Also I didn’t know you could say “mechakucha umai” [DEEEEEEE-licious, is the translation I’d say] like that, so thanks for that too.

Constantly on the make for time-savers/life-simplifiers like this since I like to get things done expediently/am lazy.

List of foods that boost each other and how. For example, eating chicken helps you absorb the vitamins in sweet potatoes, eating flax seeds in your yogurt etc etc etc

Definitely going to be trying some of these. I really need to cook… besides I figure that cooking in my apartment will result in warmer.

A comprehensive powerpoint by zenkimchi.com. What basic tools will you need? What kinds of ingredients are more common? What can you substitute for a bay leaf? How do I make goat cheese at home? What about curing my own meat to make corned beef?

This is a lot of posts at once but seriously I looked up “Lotte Mart” and “thermos” and this was the first result. Wtf but it might help some of you so here it is.

Basically don’t because it will explode.

Short answer: Yeah. Shorter answer: Yes.

List of cheap and nutritious foods. Upshot? All of it is available in Korea, and in many cases: for cheaper if you buy it from private vendors on the street. Plums and apples are just coming into season now, for example.

Highly useful. Also comes with tips to liven up prep. Need to learn to cook. Posting for saving.
