Made these today :) They pretty much look exactly like the picture, except a little thinner because I didn’t have exactly that size or shape of pan. I may try them as muffins sometime, because they have the same texture as a denser muffin. Added raisins and almonds and used crunchy peanut butter.
Click below the picture or the following link for recipe from gingerbreadbagels.com. Healthy (only big bad in it is 1/4 cup of brown sugar, which subs well if you want) and delicious :D
Yes I’ve been nervous-baking because all the work I have to do this semester is making me anxious -__-

Four more months until I can have this back in my life.  Two years without real crispy bacon is just too long for me.
Every time that I go home everyone always comments on how much fatty food I eat in the space of two weeks, and they find it hilarious. But I’d like to see them try and live (for two years) without bacon, crisps, fried breakfasts, roast dinners and fish and chips, and then see what they do.
Forget the family, (sorry mum, haha) - what do I miss most about the UK? Pickled Onion Monster Munch.  Beat that, Korea.

Every time I visited America while living in Korea I gained on average 5 pounds a week. Really. Then I’d go back to Korea and be all weird about food for a month while it came back off [quick on, quick off thankfully.]
Now that I’m back in America full time it’s different though, since I know I’m not on vacation. Going to the gym five days a week has kept me at the same weight as when I left Korea, give or take a couple pounds day to day, while trimming me up. Gym -__- I mean to write a comprehensive review of how my life has changed since I came home, but it’s such a big deal I have trouble putting it into coherent thoughts.

Jolly Pong for breakfast

added to Korea Bucket List, i.e. stuff to do between now and the 15th. Jolly Pong is like Golden Crisp, but it’s sold alongside chips and junk like that. Every one knows though, that they’re best eaten at breakfast with milk. Except me! because I haven’t tried it yet.

The only food I know how to make right every time. Scrambled eggs, spam, and toast. And I would eat it every day if I could.

I do this when I’m homesick.

I just discovered that you can get groceries shipped from amazon in America, so there’s all this food I can look at and read about online. I have a rich tradition of sitting around mooning over pizza websites and the food hashtag on tumblr, but this amazon business is so much better.

Top 5 Cereals that I cannot have:

1. Frosted Mini-Wheats

2. Cap’n Crunch

3. Apple Jacks

4. Waffle Crisp

5. Raisin Bran

Bonus: I totally want Chex as well, any kind, but I’m pretty sure it’d be gross with Vegemil.

5 Cereals that I actually have:

1. Cheerios [from Costco]

2. Kashi Go Lean Crunch [from Costco]

3. Frosted Flakes [from Lotte Mart]

4. Some Korean cereal mostly consisting of tiny bran balls and almonds [guess]

5. Honey Cheerios [currently out of it though. from Costco]

Cereal is the perfect food.

@LifeandloveinCanada: CHEX MIX. oh god girl, pleasepleaseplease buy various types of chex and make chex mix. or just buy chex mix and give it to your students as rewards for jobs well done. (I recommend turtle as it is the most cracktastic and amazing).”

lolololol if I could find any of the ingredients for Chex Mix around here there wouldn’t be any left after I came around because I’d eat the hell out of them. omg bagel chips :(

mini dutch baby with bacon and eggs.

I think I can’t be the only person who reads the name of this and immediately thinks of Fat Bastard. [“A bebe?? GET IN MAH BELLY”]

Costco. Pretty cheap. You can get them at one of the foreign food markets in Itaewon [the one near Foreign Restaurant] but they’re waaay more expensive there.
Honey Nut Cheerios for life. They’re really good with Vegemil B.

The Honey Nut Cheerios bee is going to come after me now because I’m going to say it.

Ok though admittedly I’ve eaten about half a box over the course of a single weekend. STILL

I’ve been eating a lot of eggo waffles lately.
I bought a big box at Costco. There’s 60 in there… 55. Whoever gave me that suggestion of Agave syrup, good on you. Enabler.
