Give me some Seoul.: The Scribble Project →
The Scribble Project was created by Lisa Currie as a sort of doodled interview - to watch how every person attacks the same sheet in a new way.
The steps to partcipate are simple, print out the scribble sheet, fill in the appropriate information and doodle away! Once you are done, send it…
I’m reblogging this mostly for my own reference but also because it’s a great first...

My school is haunted.
That’s the only explanation. For the past few days the building I work in has been locked, only me sitting in here with special permission. I listened to official after official telling me to lock the doors behind me and “be safe.”
Well, I can’t be safe from ghosts, because if those aren’t people running around outside my office then that’s the only explanation...

Talk Good Talk
I’m doing listening sections for next semester [the new BIG ‘OL test for high schoolers is 50% listening, therefore…] and it’s driving me crazy in movies when people don’t talk the way people really talk.
It has always gotten to me a little bit, but it really ruins imo a good movie when the dialog is wonky. Takes me out of it. Like, The Social Network: great. Nice...

Do not drink if it is discolored, tastes or smells strange.
– Warning on the side of a carton of Vegemil [a Korean brand of soymilk that generally tastes funky, is creamy in color, and smells like vomit.] :D I lol’d, and then I drank my vegemil<3

– [via cracked.com] I want to be someone’s mom someday. [/random] I remember hearing about this story at the time, but I didn’t know that the momma cat was blind for some of it… Don’t worry. She lived for 12 years after that spoiled completely rotten by her new owner. 4 out of...

This sounds like an Onion news story but it’s not… college students pouring vodka into their eyeballs to get hammered… faster??
JUST DO A SHOT.

JUST DO A SHOT?!
…
Video at the link: news reporter says “I just don’t get why anybody would do that.” Yup. Anyway, it can scar your cornea and eventually make you blind.

Some shit I've realized while arguing with an...
On the internet… on a forum that shall not be named…
It’s not that she’s young [she appears to be a college senior since she’s applying to grad school and stuff] , it’s that she doesn’t have much world experience and it wasn’t long ago that I was in the same place myself.
When I was in college I was in such a rush, you know. Since I was in middle...

Heartwarming News Story →
A man’s 3 year old grandson is going to be taken off life support so he must get to the hospital in Arizona to see him one last time, but even though he arrives at the airport 2 hours early, delays at baggage check and security make him late. He begs to be fasttracked through the lines but nobody seems to care, and he finally arrives at the gate after departure time, defeated. However, he...

I am the best smart.
I left the heat on this morning in my apartment, realized it just as I stepped out of the elevator on the ground floor.
I am actually burning money right now, therefore. -sigh- Will compensate by trying not to spend any/much money out today.
Disaster. Anyway, perspective.

Devastation
It’s -11 degrees “feels like” temperature out, and I keep hearing about this devastating wind. The heat has been on all day in my apartment and yet I feel an icy breeze. My window is covered in a heavy shade as well as heavy curtains, and the gap under the curtains is filled by a blanket that I stuffed up there and yet: BREEZE!
How? Why? The ondol is on, but there’s so...

Oh Snap. Again.
me: So I was telling [sweetest coteacher] about this sweater -indicates current sweater- how it’s really itchy and how do I make it not itchy?
BFF co: yes

BFF co: no. That’s not what you should do.
me: Right? That’s not what I meant and she knew it! I mean...

Musical Chairs
Korean students have never heard of musical chairs. This was a scandal that I sought to remedy.
me: -playing the music playing the music-
students: -circling the chairs circling the chairs-
me: -STOPS THE MUSIC-
students: -SCREAM AND FALL ALL OVER THE PLACE-
me: OH GOD WOUNDED SOLDIERS
Maybe playing musical chairs with 30 people is not the best plan for first timers.

I don't feel so invisible now.
So I had let my phone battery die and I had been staying off instant messenger and what happens? Bff co freaks out and thinks I’m laying dead in my apartment and comes over expressly to either A. discover that I am alive B. discover my corpse. Congratulations to both of us that it was A~
Lesson learned. I feel happy that this happened but also very guilty that she went so far out of her...
